TheKnitGeekResearch is a design research project that combines the skills of fashion designers and engineers to recreate a domestic machine that allows production between crafts and industry to push the technical limits of existing domestic devices and thus give designers more creative possibilities. This project will develop a catalog of knitting samples, focusing on 3D developments, which will serve as a reference base for fashion designers and designers interested in creating flexible three-dimensional objects.
